The Rambles
Hello hello. As you can see, I am feeling kind of restless in this late hour at night, not knowing what to do. It’s weird right, before exams, there were a million things to do, all the post exams plans, though I must say it gets lesser and lesser as years passed by (I wonder why). Honestly, it’s been merely a week! since my last paper, and I am feeling this ‘I-must-do-something-right-now-stop-wasting-life-away’ feeling every day, so much so I even had the urge to bake last night, to learn cooking, just do something, gain some knowledge. I hope I don’t sound crazy right now, not workaholic please. I guess most of my friends are still having their papers, including my dear sister, so I could only be good and try not to pester them, not to say even release any of these restless emotions. I shall be good. So yay, headed to Sentosa last Sunday (Love the Sun!) and those lovely brunch places I always wanted to go. Life’s pretty good I see. I even grabbed a book at ‘Times’ called ‘The Perks of Being A Wallflower’. It is great having a friend working in a bookstore. Got to claim this seemingly Out-of-Stock book at another deserted outlet with a staff discount rate. Am still reading it. Even though they are supposedly written via the thoughts of a little boy, his words can get too heavy at times, that I had to stop and go watch ‘happy’ movies. The book is adapted into a movie and most probably releasing this September, starring Emma Watson (Shout-out to all fans!) Oh did I tell you I am heading for an exhibition at Arts House tomorrow? It’s an exhibition of our school Cambodia trip for the sponsors. It’s the first time I am actually like holding an exhibition and presenting my work. I should be excited but I guess the whole vibe by the team is not there, so I just hope it all goes smoothly. There’s a colour code: Blue so I am wearing my new reversible dress! Been into colourful dresses lately. Finally becoming more feminine and back to heels my best friend loves it. It’s fun being versatile you get to mix-match your clothing with a different look everyday. Okay, lastly, I shall end this off with ‘I AM GOING TO PERTH THIS MAY!’ Most wonderful news ever for this Summer. Goodnight.
Love, k
